• Halo is a sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) injection manufactured by CEVA, supplied in a 6 mL intravenous format, and designed to support joint health in horses and camels. As a medium molecular weight hyaluronic acid solution, Halo works by restoring the natural lubricating and cushioning quality of synovial fluid, helping performance animals move more comfortably.
• Unlike intra-articular injections, which are delivered directly into a single joint, Halo is administered intravenously, allowing it to circulate through the bloodstream and support multiple joints at once — a significant advantage for camels and horses affected by widespread joint discomfort rather than a single localized injury, and without the added procedural risk of injecting directly into a joint capsule.

Dosage and Administration

Halo must be administered only by slow intravenous infusion, under the direction of a licensed veterinarian.
